Based in Launceston, the People and Culture Support Officer will:

  • Provide day to day administrative assistance to the People and Culture team
  • Act as the initial point of contact for People and Culture enquiries, managing shared inboxes, responding to routine queries, and referring matters to the appropriate HR team members
  • Liaise with manager to coordinator recruitment activities, including drafting and posting job advertisements on internal and external platforms. Assist with the preparation of documentation and correspondence for new starters and existing employees
  • Maintain accurate employee records in line with legislative and organisation requirements
  • Input and update employee data in HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure data integrity and compliance
  • Perform and monitor compliance checks, including NDIS-endorsed Working with Vulnerable People registrations, and ensure HR documentation meets quality and legislative standards
  • Organise and support meetings, training sessions, and internal events as required
  • Undertake additional duties as needed, consistent with the scope and level of the role
  • Provide support to the corporate rostering team providing leave and shift changes

What you bring to the role:

Essential

  • Cert IV / Diploma of Human Resources Management or other relevant qualification or experience (or working towards completion)
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Current driver’s license
  • NDIS Endorsed WWVP Registration
Desirable:
  • Experience in an Aged Care, Community Service or Not-for-profit Sector
