What do we need
An experienced ICT Lead, Applications and Support to provide direct assistance to the Manager ICT Services and to supervise the IT Helpdesk function.
This role is permanent full time and is accountable to the Manager ICT Services in the delivery of ICT services to all OneCare employees. The ICT Lead, Applications and Support is expected to perform service with a degree of autonomy and in a manner which embodies customer service excellence behaviours.
Reporting to the Manager ICT Services you will:
- Provide direct assistance to the Manager ICT Services to ensure the performance outcomes are achieved
- Supervise the IT Helpdesk function to ensure tasks are managed and completed within given timeframes
- Provide second level IT support to all OneCare Ltd sites
- Provide out of hours support as part on an on-call roster
- Undertake high level organisational projects
- Mentors ICT Support Officers
- Ensures continued staff satisfaction and continuity of IT systems
- Perform other related duties as required
Skills and experience required:
- Certificate IV in Information Technology or equivalent (Essential)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in ICT Support (Essential)
- ITIL v4 Foundation or higher (Desirable)
- Demonstrated system implementation experience, plus sound knowledge of process re-engineering or process mapping.
- Strong problem-solving skills along with the ability to seek all relevant information; analyse that information from different perspectives and making recommendations based on the available information.
- High level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including consultation, presentation and negotiation.
- Demonstrated commitment to a team approach together with capacity to exercise initiative, flexibility, innovation and self-motivation
